Goju Ryu Karate, coop and priorities with Madeleine Pollock

Students and young professionals are facing barriers, uncertainty, biases, changing priorities and now a pandemic as they navigate the school to work transition. Their collective stories have inspired me and now I want to share these stories with you.

Let’s meet Madeleine! Madeleine Pollock has strong interest in Finance and Project Management and is in her final year at the University of Waterloo studying Math/ Financial Analysis and Risk Management. This past winter term, Madeleine was a Project Coordinator Co-op at RBC Capital Markets in the Strategy and Transformation Group. Prior to her role at RBC, she had other co-ops positions as a business analyst and developer. During her time at RBC, Madeleine has also been involved in the Student Partner Program. Through this experience, she created content for the Student Newsletter, hosted student socials, and produced the Fall Student End of Term Video. Madeleine loves to get involved and create meaningful experiences for her peers. In her free time, Madeleine loves watching movies and going for nature walks. A couple fun facts about Madeleine are that she has a black belt in Goju Ryu Karate and she can juggle.

I had the chance to sit down to talk Goju Ryu Karate, coop and priorities with Madeleine Pollock and I am happy to share our conversation with you, Enjoy!
